Responsibilities of the Medical Assembler
Perform high precision soldering to assemble pulse oximeter devicesWire cutting, crimping, and connectingUtilize a microscope for assembly and inspectionFollow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and proceduresComply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirementsComplete all administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirementsReport problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to production supervisorPerform product testing and re-works as neededMaintain a clean and organized work areaRequirements of the Medical Assembler
Experience in high precision soldering preferredAbility to assemble small componentsAbility to use a microscopeHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read and comprehend procedures written in EnglishAbility to pass a background checkAbility to frequently sitAbility to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsSpecific vision requirements include close vision and color visionMedical device manufacturing experience preferredBasic computer skills
Compensation for the Medical Assembler: The starting salary for this position is $20.00 per hour.
