A health system dedicated to unwavering commitment to patient-centered care is excited to welcome an additional general urologist to their current practice of 2 providers and 4 APPs, located in the Great Lakes Bay Region of Michigan. There are positions available for both seasoned urologists seeking immediate patient volume in a supportive healthcare environment, as well as recent urology graduates interested in mentorship with an easy ramp-up period. Subspecialties can be supported; especially exciting to the group would be a urologic oncologist or those with interests in female urology.
Hospital Details:650-bed acute care hospital.Level II Trauma Center.Brand new office, designed with urology in mind; the current providers had input in its design, maximizing urology efficiencies.Largest in the Great Lakes Bay Region.Major teaching hospital to a central Michigan university's seven residency programs and medical students.200+ member employed physician group, supported by over 77 advanced practice providers.
Position Details:Bread-and-butter general urology position, but subspecialties can be supported, especially exciting to the group would be urologic oncology or female urology.Join 2 urologists and 4 APPs (who assist in taking day call).Some teaching for general surgery residents is available (but not required).Hospital has two da Vinci Xi HD robots, a new hybrid operating suite, and an ARTIS phenoa robotic C-arm angiography system used for minimally invasive interventional procedures.Urology is predominately based out of one hospital which houses the OR and patients. The ERC is located at the other hospital, which is connected.Compensation package is very generous with productivity and incentive bonus, with professional liability coverage. Full benefits include life, health, dental, and vision.Call will be no more than 10 days a month but is very nonburdensome and predominately via phone consult. Current provider has gone in for call about 3 times in the last 4 years.Can support an H1b Visa.
