hands-on , highly skilled, and experienced Director/Senior Manager, IT Systems to lead our IT department in Boston (currently containing 7 people). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies, managing a team of IT professionals, and ensuring the successful execution of IT initiatives to support our business growth and innovation. We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience and knowledge of the most recent technologies and best practices including
RBAC, ZTNA , combined with knowledge of Firewalls. Best practices about managing MacOS endpoints, able to create plans, communicate and deliver on best practices for an enterprise level organization. We are looking for someone who can effectively lead and guide the team to implement solutions as listed in the responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Lead
enterprise-grade
technology implementation of various IT systemsLead policy guidelines and implementation MacOS end-point administration
(500+ end-points)
including
zero-touch enrollment , onboarding, and off-boardingLead implementation in the
identity domain
- including
RBAC ,
SCIM based provisioning , SSO and IDPManage helpdesk ticketing,
provide SLA
for troubleshooting and customer support to 450 employeesImplement IT processes and operations to
comply with standards
such as
SOC2
and ISO/SOXDevelop and maintain strong relationships and
communication with key stakeholders
to understand business needs and align IT strategy accordinglyHelp manage on-prem
networking
across multiple locations,
firewall
administration, and physical access controls and manage vendorsManage implementation of
new site build outsCollaborate with the security team to ensure data security and privacy protocols are in place and adhered toLead and
manage a team of IT professionals
to ensure the successful execution of IT initiatives and projectsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize IT needs and opportunities that align with business objectivesProvide guidance and direction to IT team members, fostering a culture of growth and developmentMonitor and analyze IT performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with business goals.Requirements:
4+ years of Experience with JAMF
for managing and deploying configurations ownership of 100+ MacOS endpointsMinimum of 8 years of experience in IT management , with at least 3 years in a leadership role4+ years
of experience managing/orchestrating IT
help desk
teams via tools such as JIRAImplementation experience with
ZTNA , SSO, SAML and
RBAC -based authentication and zero-touch onboardingBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred4+ years of experience with implementing and managing SaaS services like SSO, Google Workspace, etcExperience managing networking infrastructureProven track record of developing and implementing IT strategies that drive business growth and innovationStrong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team membersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership and stakeholdersSolid understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirementsExperience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
