The Estimating Coordinator will be accountable for executing precise quantity take-offs and assertively engaging vendors and subcontractors during the bidding process for construction projects. Moreover, the Estimating Coordinator must possess a strong grasp of construction principles, adeptness in reading project plans, and proficiency in quantifying bid items.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESReview project plans, requirements, and specificationsDownload and properly save all project documentsPrepare accurate quantity takeoffsPerform vendor and subcontractor solicitations via Smartbid system for all bids assignedAssemble vendor and subcontractor quotes for all bidsReview quotes and estimates with the project Estimating teamPerform assigned post-bid tasksPerforms other related duties as required and assignedREQUIREMENTSBachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or Architecture is preferred1-3 years experience estimating construction projectsAdvanced computers skills with MS Office (Word, Excel)Knowledge of construction costs and construction principlesFamiliarity with some aspects of horizontal and infrastructure projects preferredWell organized, personable, flexible, detail oriented and multi-taskedPrioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines while constantly changing tasks and demandsExcellent written an oral communicatorExperience with Agtek preferredPre-employment background check and drug screening required.Pulice Construction Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Women/Minorities/Veterans/Disabled
