Position: Production Line Worker
Summary: As a Production Line Worker, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery on the production line, ensuring the efficient and accurate production of aerosol products. Your precision and adherence to safety and quality standards will play a critical role in meeting production targets and delivering high-quality aerosol products to our customers.
1st Shift M-F 5:30am-2:30/3:30pm
2nd Shift M-TH 2:30pm-1am
Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery: Safely and effectively operate production equipment, such as aerosol filling machines, labelers, and conveyor systems.
- Product inspection: Conduct regular visual inspections and quality checks on products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
- Material handling: Monitor and manage raw materials and components needed for production, including aerosol cans, valves, tips, caps, and shipping cartons.
- Health and safety compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Efficiency improvement: Collaborate with supervisors and team members to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased productivity.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate production records.
- Cleanliness and organization: Keep the production area clean and organized, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Training and development: Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of aerosol production processes, safety procedures, and company policies.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
- 95% standing, bending and walking
- Frequent heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs.
