RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure safety of studentsProvide focused and guided supervision of studentsUse appropriate tone and language when addressing students and listen to student concernsAssist with restroom breaks, cafeteria needs, etc.Promote good social relationships between childrenMaintain respect at all times for confidential informationInteract in a positive manner with staff, students and parentsProvide monitor assistance to teacher as directed
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingEffective, active listening skillsAbility to work effectively with othersOrganizational and problem-solving skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diplomaExperience working with childrenBilingual in Spanish is an assetEffective interpersonal skills
