Business Analyst - Commercial Business

OverviewThe primary purpose of this position is to support the MedSurg division in development, deployment and implementation of pricing management strategy in regions in conjunction with the AMER commercial business management team and specialty teams.Responsibilities+ Increase awareness of divisional pricing strategy in conjunction with commercial managers and speciality teams.+ Share pricing best practices across regions and specialties to ensure solutions already present in the organization are fully leveraged and roll out.+ Supports the commercial management team in the development, execution and monitoring Divisional Pricing strategy in terms of contract management, price adherence and margin levels.+ Develop and initiate new product launch plans specifically related to pricing strategies using market relevant pricing and existing price policy in line with margin expectations.+ Gather pricing business needs, propose and develop solutions to meet those needs in conjunction with Divisions and CSD.+ Analyze on-going pricing performance and identify new pricing opportunities, while considering fee and rebate structures.+ Identify emerging trends on competitor price performance; reporting on specific price trends to enable commercial market analysis.+ Analyze and synthesize customers sales data into meaningful and insightful reports and communication to inform commercial approach.+ Support current and future development of infrastructure (processes & tools) to drive real and sustained pricing performance and comply with divisional pricing policy.+ Train and support business partners in the use of those infrastructures.+ Work collaboratively to drive effective pricing execution and performance.+ Ensure that Cooks Code of Conduct considered in all business matters carried out on Cooks behalf+ Meet deadlines and complete administrative tasks such as expenses, training, reporting, policy acknowledgements, etc. in a timely mannerQualificationsQualifications and Experience:+ Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; including business process and data analytics; able to construct and execute multiple complex analyses+ Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks across different groups+ Previous experience in finance, pricing or sales analysis/operations preferred+ 2+ years of experience in reporting and/or data analysis preferred+ Proficiency in BI and creative programs such as Qlik highly preferred+ Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry preferredPhysical Requirements/Work Environment:+ Ability and willingness to travel for business as needed.+ Work under general office environmental conditions.+ Sit for extended periods, utilize close visual acuity for working with computers, etc.Requisition ID2024-15367Posting Date4 weeks ago(10/4/2024 12:59 PM)Job Location(s)Bloomington IN United StatesJob LocationsUS-IN-Bloomington | US-IN-IndianapolisTravel10-20%Position TypeFull TimeCompanyCook Medical LLCCategorySales Support
