If so, consider being a key partner in the growth of GSK Specialty Care as a Director, Global Strategic Insights (GSI), Early Pipeline.GSK is seeking individuals' collaborative mindset to drive strategic insight generation that will define and shape Global Product Strategy for the Specialty Care Division. You will be focused on early pipeline assets, business development opportunities, and above-brand initiatives, with the intention of further bolstering GSK's pipeline value. Working closely with the Head of Early Pipeline, you will:Be a thought-partner to early product strategy leads

Partner with the Global Competitive Intelligence team to closely monitor the latest external developments, and translate these into concise and impactful recommendations with cross-functional input

Lead on insight generation to shape and drive commercial forecasts for early pipeline and business development governance milestones; in close partnership with cross-functional teams

Partner cross-functionally on business development search and evaluation initiatives

Leverage technology and innovation to accelerate senior leader decision-making

Generate actionable and concise recommendations from a broad array of databases and solutions to meaningfully influence GSK Specialty Care's strategic trajectory

Harness the latest research and analytical methodologies to drive a competitive edge for GSK

Develop deep subject matter expertise across a broad array of therapeutic areas; tracking trends, current and evolving competitive landscapes, and generating long-term strategic outlooks

Deliver well-integrated, actionable insights and ensure their strategic application to support global strategy, governance, and investment decisions

Drive commercial forecast generation to ensure seamless integration of market and customer insights into sound forecasts that contribute to stage gating and investment planning decisions

Manage vendor relationships to achieve a mutually rewarding partnership while ensuring excellence in insight generation execution

Leverage a wide range of tools and resources to identify opportunities, assess program potential, and provide guidance to optimize development plans

Ensure 100% adherence to market research compliance guidelines

Why you?Basic Qualifications:We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:BA/BS Degree7+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience5+ years of commercial insights & analytics related experiencePrior consulting or agency-side experiencePreferred Qualifications:If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:MBA, MS, or MA in business, marketing science, or science

Successful matrix leadership. Experience working in a cross-functional capacity

Scenario-based planning

Preference will be attributed to applicants with both market research AND forecasting expertise

Research and analytics distillation, synthesis, and application to business issues

Strong business acumen

Demonstrated ability to influence senior commercial leadership and confidently defend informed recommendations

Demonstrated ability to apply data and analyses to drive high impact business decisions

Significant experience conducting qualitative and quantitative market research

Ability to leverage and synthesize a broad range of information sources to develop insight and generate clear, actionable recommendations that impact/drive decision-making at a business unit level

Deep understanding of the global pharmaceutical industry

Strong verbal and written communication/ presentation skills

Ability to work effectively across a matrix environment and influence without formal authority

Demonstrated ability to influence senior commercial leadership

Agility, flexibility, and comfort with ambiguity
