LifeSource is hiring an Information Technology Manager to be responsible for all aspects of technology systems at LifeSource, managing the environments of desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems, network connectivity and cybersecurity.

function in all roles within the team.Overseeing projects involving the design, analysis, maintenance, and implementation of Windows servers and network applications (Office 365, VM, antivirus, MDM, network monitoring, backup and recovery, wireless infrastructure, Nutanix).Leading implementation and administration of network level applications, including but not limited to, messaging systems, virtual server infrastructure (VM Ware), remote connectivity, DNS, system software reporting and compliance, and database server administration.Driving excellence in customer service, relationship management and team collaboration through timely and effective communication with internal and external customers and partners.As an Information Technology Manager , you’ll advance our life-saving work by performing the following job duties:Oversee day-to-day information systems and technology operations, ensuring effectiveness and security to support organizational success:Leadership & Problem Solving: Lead the analysis of business challenges and propose innovative technology solutions aligned with organizational goals.Technology Collaboration: Partner with organizational leaders to articulate and advocate for technology solutions that meet business needs.Advancement of Donation Technologies: Identify and implement technological advancements from donation partners to enhance donation processes.Strategic Initiative Alignment: Collaborate to develop and implement strategic initiatives to leverage technology, and external relationships with appropriate technology partners.Network Currency: Engage in continuous improvement of the enterprise-wide network, including trending analysis and capacity planning.Industry Knowledge: Stay current on best practices in internet and cloud computing, including DNS, security, IP routing, VPN, and email management.Vendor Management: Oversee partnerships and contract negotiations with information system vendors, ensuring quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.System Administration: Manage end-to-end administration of Windows and network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN hardware, firewalls, and voice systems.Cybersecurity Management: Oversee cybersecurity infrastructure, including monitoring, threat intelligence, and incident response.Identify, develop, and communicate Information Technology policies, procedures, and systems to enhance organizational compliance, information security, and the efficiency of key donation processes.End User Support: Ensure the implementation of training, tools, and resources to promote efficient and secure use of technological assets.Policy Development: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, policies, guidance documents, and work instructions, collaborating as needed.Documentation Consistency: Drive consistency in documentation across information services systems, including knowledge base articles, workflows, and network diagrams.Process Management: Guide the implementation of new technology processes in response to regulatory changes or other program impacts.Project Alignment: Lead and mentor the integration of information technology into organizational projects, ensuring effective selection, planning, testing, training, execution, monitoring, and closure.Audit Management: Oversee and execute timely internal audits for information services, ensuring compliance with requirements from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other agencies.Process Improvement: Recommend modifications or improvements to current information services processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in alignment with strategic goals.Technical Support: Maintain knowledge of electronic systems in conference rooms and respond to user inquiries as needed.Lead, guide, and mentor team members to successfully execute work processes, fostering cross-departmental collaboration to achieve the organization’s mission and goals.Team Engagement: Conduct regular individual and team meetings to review programs, activities, and accomplishments, providing critical information for team success.Cultural Leadership: Model and participate in initiatives that enhance organizational culture, talent development, and partner engagement, integrating equity, diversity, and inclusion practices.Work Management: Oversee work planning, scheduling, time sheet management, time-off requests, and expense reports to ensure adequate capacity and policy adherence.Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members to promote professional development and the achievement of personal and team goals.Performance Management: Manage team performance through documented coaching, identifying growth opportunities, recognizing achievements, and overseeing the performance appraisal process.Training: Facilitate effective training and competency assessment for team members to ensure proficiency in their roles and required work processes.Recruitment: Engage in the recruitment and selection of highly skilled team members to enhance team capabilities.Collaboration: Collaborate with other leaders to guide team members and optimize key work processes.Accountability Culture: Foster a culture of accountability and integrity within the team, ensuring exceptional service to both internal and external customers.QUALIFICATIONSRequires a combination of education and experience equivalent to 10 years information systems or technology responsibilities.Requires a minimum of 3 years proven leadership, mentoring and coaching experience.Ability to lead a team, coordinate internal and external resources, and achieve measurable results against specific goals.Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint tools; possess a thorough understanding of the internet and cloud computing including DNS, security, IP routing, http, VPN, email routing, and spam.Must be organized, detail oriented, self-directed, motivated contributor with ability to effectively lead a team.Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills to confidently execute reasonable and sound decision making.Strong communication and interpersonal skills including effective written correspondence, active listening, and professional customer service response at all levels.Ability to communicate effectively and interact positively with team members and all levels of leadership, evaluating questions, concerns, and complaints objectively.Demonstrated interpersonal savvy capabilities, building, maintaining, motivating, influencing, and achieving cooperation with both internal and external relationships across all levels of an organization.Demonstrated ability to exhibit a high degree of quality, integrity, and honor confidentiality of appropriate information including, but not limited to, personal team member data, organizational operations or work processes, donor and donor family information, contributor details, any financial information and medical or protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA.WORKING CONDITIONSAble to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with schedule adjusted to accommodate organizational needs.Must be able to travel within the service area (MN, ND, SD) by ground or air, as needed, and occasionally to national events and meetings.Projected offer rate range:
