Urgent Care Physician Assistant

NP/PA Urgent Care opening in Maine- Located in Houlton, ME - Bangor 120m- Full-time, permanent positions- Employed- Weekly schedule: Rotating weekendsRESPONSIBILITIES- Diagnosis and treatment of Health Center patients to assure quality medical care.- Provides emergency care and minor surgical care to assure total patient care.- Provides off-site care as appropriate (house calls, nursing home care, hospital coverage, etc.) to assure availability of care.- Performs diagnostic tests and interprets results to provide timely and convenient patient care.- Maintains current, accurate patient health records and regularly reviews mid-level practitioner charts to assure compliance with regulations- Prescribes required medication and/or other therapeutic modalities to patients to assure proper treatment.- Assumes full responsibility for mid-level practitioners work related activities to comply with state and federal regulations.- Provides professional supervision and evaluation of physician assistants according to the P.A.
