Hematology Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician - NIGHT SHIFT

NEW Night Shift Hematology MT Opening - Long Island New York

• Permanent full time position
• NIGHT SHIFT:11:59pm - 8:30am; Monday - Friday w/rotating Saturdays
• Job Duties:
  • Perform moderate and high complexity testing using state-of-the art instrumentation including an integrated Sysmex XN line with CellaVision
  • Review manual differentials
  • Read IFA slides for autoimmune and infectious diseases
  • Analyze, review, and report test results and quality control results and take remedial action when indicated
  • Ensure specimen integrity by adhering to the laboratory s procedure for specimen handling and processing
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures to include departmental programs, quality control, quality assurance, and safety
• Requirements
  • New York State License (Medical Technologist)
  • Bachelors Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology preferred
  • ASCP, preferred
• Salary Range: $38-$48/hr
• Private lab setting near the Garden City, NY Area!
