The program runs from June 7 - 25, Monday - Friday, from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. This fun and exciting experience offers students the opportunity to participate in various activities on the Smith College Campus. Students in grades K-2 will utilize the Campus School facilities for activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games, circus arts, water games, drama, sports, story-telling and more! Students in grades 3-6 will use Smith College athletic facilities and other buildings to participate in activities including: arts, sports (golf, tennis, basketball, soccer, frisbee), science, kung fu, nature exploration and more!Campus School June Program will follow all COVID-19 protocol, policies, and procedures as directed by the CDC, Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), state and local guidance, and Smith College Culture of Care COVID-19 Incident Response Team (CIRT). June Program staff will participate in weekly COVID-19 testing as directed by CIRT.Group LeaderManage and supervise a group of students. Create programming, provide instruction, manage equipment, supplies and program spaces, provide student support when needed, maintain and report daily attendance, arrival and dismissal, and direct support staff. Uphold and support program protocol, policies and procedures. Report to the program coordinator. Positions include work with Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades.
