Senior System Safety Engineer (Electric and Autonomous Systems)

CS also makes available a structure where a motivated employee will develop/diversify his/her skills and will be fully involved in the growth of the company.Today we are seeking a Senior System Safety Engineer with practical expertise in safety/mission critical embedded systems to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of next-generation electric and autonomous on-road and off-road vehicles.Responsibilities:Prepare safety and security analysis in accordance with ISO 26262, ISO 13849, IEC 61508, IEC 62061.Conduct hazard analysis and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards throughout the system lifecycle.Define safety goals and requirements for system components and subsystems, including hardware and software.Perform safety analyses, including FMEA, FTA, DFA, and fault injection, to evaluate system safety performance and identify improvement opportunities.Participate in technical discussions as part of business development efforts.Perform reviews on functional safety and cybersecurity work products.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.10+ years experience in system safety engineering, with a focus on automotive systems.Experience in hazard analysis and risk assessments (HARA / HAZOP).Experience in system safety analysis type FMEA.Experience with at least one of the following: ISO 26262, ISO 13849, IEC 61508, IEC 62061.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to reach out to the client.Additional Information:All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity.Training/Professional Development opportunities for all members.6 paid holidays.Industry leading medical, dental, and vision insurance.Employee Assistance Program, including mental health benefits.Spouse/Child Optional Life.Whole Life Insurance / Critical Illness Insurance / Legal Assistance / Military Leave.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.CS Group US values diversity in the workplace and encourages women, visible minorities, ethnic minorities, aboriginal people, and people with disabilities to apply.
