Ability to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do :In this fast-paced environment, our team will be working through complex issues using organizational assessment, strategy and implementation leading practices to improve knowledge, resources, and sustainable decision-making and shared learning across states, territories, and tribes. The ideal candidate for this role will leverage technical assistance, change management, organizational effectiveness, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and critical thinking experience to support high-priority projects with a broad impact across the agency. This role demands expertise in prioritizing conflicting needs, the ability to handle matters expeditiously and proactively, often with tight deadline pressures and minimal direct/supervisory guidance. Candidates should be able to handle and thrive in an ambiguous environment, with the ability to shift focus to meet the changing needs of the client. It is expected that a candidate will be able to utilize and build upon minimal instruction to be able to identify and promote positive outcomes and solutions for the client, truly owning their own product.Create meeting agendas and presentations, facilitate client meetings, and document and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and notesIdentify and proactively address client needs by presenting potential solutions to challenges or issuesDevelop high-quality presentations which effectively communicate key objectives and facilitate discussion across multiple stakeholdersManage stakeholder engagement, feedback, decisions, project risks, and mitigation strategiesDevelop and ensure quality deliverables such as work plans, project timelines, and status reportsGeneral project management tasks to manage milestones, activities, and quality and risk managementLeverage human-centered design experience through discovery, design, implementation and evaluation phasesCollect data through various mechanisms including interviews, work groups, and surveysConduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of dataCo-facilitate interviews, work groups, and other meetings in an effort to generate consensus around process or program mattersDevelop current state and future state process analysisDevelop executive presentations with future state recommendationsDevelop, manage, and maintain strengthening collaboration between child care and IDEA Part C Early Intervention servicesAnalyze variability in state, tribal, and territorial practices of administering IDEA Part C and child care servicesApply knowledge of child care and/or special education programs at the federal, state, county, territory, or tribal level to develop actionable recommendations and a comprehensive implementation plan to target strengthening child care and IDEA Part C Early Intervention services to lead to improved early identification and early intervention in child care settings and higher quality early childhood programsEstablish resources, tools, and criteria focused on state-system mechanisms which can serve to evaluate innovative solutions by measuring success, impact, replicability, and scalabilityDevelop and lead implementation strategy across various states and local public, private and non-profit organizationsDevelop and launch a Knowledge Management Model to share and promote promising practices at a state, tribal and territory levelWhat You Will Need :Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood, Social Work, Disability Studies, Rehabilitation, Psychology, Education Law/Policy5 to 7 years professional work experience working in early childhood education, early childhood special education, social work, disability or rehabilitation studies, psychology, education law/policyAbility to develop strong team and client relationships, facilitation and consensus buildingExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to write and edit reports, create briefings for senior executives, research and review market insights, and customize content for various stakeholdersUnderstanding unique challenges and barriers faced by families, individual students or populations of students and ability to provide insight into the systems required to ensure equity in child careAbility to investigate, synthesize, and break down complex challenges into clear, digestible approaches and solutions that manages the needs for various stakeholdersStrong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer and stakeholder needs and translate them into tangible documents and/or deliverablesAbility to identify
