ASSYST is seeking a Senior Power Platform Application Developer to support our client project in Washington DC. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities:Write Low Level Design, Unit Testing Plan, and Unit Test case documentation.
Design, develop, code review, bug-fix, and test the application.
Assist in Integration Testing and user acceptance testing.
Perform Code optimization and strictly adhere to bank coding standards.
Assist in any documentation or any artifacts needed for EA/OIS clearance.
Coordinate day-to-day communication between team in other countries and HQ.
Develop and maintain Dynamics 365/Power Platform/Azure and .NET applications.
Develop Dataverse plugins and debug existing applications for performance optimization.
Build microservices (using lightweight APIs) that enable bidirectional integration through RESTful interfaces.
Utilize ELT tools and develop ETL scripts for data migration, including security metadata.
Perform migration activities Dev to QA, QA to Prod and maintains transport logs.
Develops and improves user systems procedures and prepares systems documentation.
Provide support to end users and other team members as needed.
Requirements:Minimum 10 yrs of experience and Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science or equivalent experience, plus professional certificates.
Experienced Power Platform (Power App and Power Automate) Senior Developer who can design, build and support ever-growing automation requirements across the units.
Good Knowledge and Experience in Power Platform Environments, Power Platform License, Dataverse, other 3rd party Data Sources (non-CDS), Connectors, DLP Policies, Power Platform Core Framework, Reusable components, Security Roles, etc.
Strong hands-on experience in developing enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET framework, C#, Power Apps, Power Platform, O365, and related Azure technologies.
Good understanding of Azure platform capabilities, including Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Modern Authentication.
Prior experience of implementing Power Platform DevSecOps using Pipelines, ALM Accelerator, DevOps/Github Design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of security processes and security controls.
Excellent grasp and knowledge of industry best practices in the Dynamics 365 domain, with a successful track record of implementing projects in complex IT and business environments.
Actively seeks and shares knowledge with others, effectively communicating and presenting information in a clear and organized manner.
Organized, agile, persistent, and proactive, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
Delivers information effectively to support the team or workgroup, with strong writing and editing skills in English, conveying complex ideas clearly and directly.
Hands-on experience in developing Power Automate to support Backend jobs, bulk updates to dataverse, connection to SharePoint, O365, etc.
Thoroughly document and effectively communicate technical analyses, designs, and specifications. Additionally, provide explanations for the preferred approach over alternative solutions.
Proven ability to collaborate with team members across boundaries, contributing productively and respecting different points of view. Able to cultivate effective client relationships and partnerships across organizational boundaries.
Takes personal ownership and accountability for meeting deadlines and achieving agreed-upon results, with strong problem-solving skills.
Experience working with Azure DevOps and continuous integration.
Familiarity with Agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum.
