Position Summary:

As a part of Walmart Global Tech, you will build state of the art personalization and recommendation solutions that will elevate the e-commerce experience of millions of customers. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Walmart+ Account Management team under the Customer Experience organization. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization. If you are someone who feels a personal stake in everything that you work on, has a love for data, enjoys solving complex problems, has a passion for privacy, knows how to foster strong relationships and build trust, and works for the success of the entire team then this is just the right place for you.About Team: Walmart+ Account ManagementThe Account Management team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation while engaging Walmart+ members with the innumerous benefits being offered.What you'll do:Develop features with the highest level of quality by thinking of all the ways that the feature can be broken, with resiliency plans and fail-safe mechanisms in place.Work with Product managers to chart the development timeline and plans while focusing on delivering the features well in-advance of the deadline, while buffering for last-minute surprises and curve balls.Work closely with our design and UX teams to create amazing and intuitive experiences that make it effortless to connect different apps together.Collaborate with leads and architects during implementation and constantly set a high goal for the betterment of the product as well as a path for career growth.What you'll bring:At least 8 years of corporate work experience in

Android development .Extensive understanding of Android framework components and their respective lifecycles combined with a solid knowledge of multithreading, networking, offline storage, and performance tuning.Extensive knowledge of

Kotlin, Android SDK, and Gradle , and experience working with

asynchronously coroutines and dependency injection

(Dagger).Build reusable Android components, orchestrate user-interactions integrating with

backend services via REST and GraphQL APIs .Ability to build products with a focus on testability, someone who loves test coverage (well versed with MockK, Google Truth, Robolectric, and Espresso).Wide experience working in multi-module environment projects.Expert-level knowledge of git and continuous integration.Experience in good app architecture using design patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean.Experience in working for

large corporations .Experience in working for
