$90,000 to $105,000Purpose of the Position:The Concrete Engineer will assist in the facilitation of assigned subcontractors’ work. The Concrete Engineer is responsible for ensuring alignment with document management and schedule. Initial review of quality of work performed by assigned subcontractors for conformance to the contract documents.Responsibilities and Duties:Review and process submittals and shop drawings till approved, coordinating submittals with contract documentsDetailing concrete outline drawingsCoordinate Inspections for all concrete workLabor and production trackingSurveying and Layout for concrete elements, block outs, and elevationsAssisting the Superintendent in coordinating the work, ordering materials including concrete material, coordinating deliveriesTake offs for all concrete pours, scheduling ready mix and pumping operations in concert with the GC and Concrete SuperintendentProject safety is a team effort; taking a lead on the project team’s health and wellness will be essentialGeneration of RFIs to address conflicts in a solution orientated fashionPerform field review of assigned work in place for conformance to the contract documentsPhysical/digital project document control for Job Set-up including Project Surveys & Permits, Specifications, Drawings, Submittals, RFI’s (Logs) through Close-Out docsChange Orders – assist in identifying changed conditions, tracking costs, managing field executionParticipation in daily and weekly ‘Delivery Schedule’, Logistics etcPunch ListMeeting MinutesAssistance with Schedule UpdatesMinimum Skills or Experience Requirements:Internship or prior work experience in a similar work environment is required.Bachelor college degree, in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred; Technical or trade school degree or training favored.Military - preferably Technical/Construction/Logistics background/ Leadership experience a plusExcellent English language verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate in Spanish will be beneficialWorking knowledge and experience with the following software and programs is preferred:

Microsoft Office proficiencyMicrosoft 365 – Outlook (email) and cloud-based suite of productivity application like MS TeamsMicrosoft Project or Primavera 6 for project schedulingAutodesk Revit, AutoCAD, or BIM 360 for 3D digital information and performance modelsBluebeam Revu – for PDF markup and collaboration tool
