Oversee and manage the accurate, timely preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and individual federal, state, and local tax returns for privately held and family-owned business clients Develop strategic tax solutions to ensure client compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations Conduct tax research to support compliance and strategic planning needs Monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments, communicate impacts to the Tax Services team, and assist with training and regular updates for staff Formulate strategies to leverage changes in tax legislation Facilitate and manage communications with the IRS and other tax authorities Act as the primary client contact for complex issues that staff are unable to resolve independently Support the growth and success of the firm by suggesting process improvements Receive ongoing education to enhance technical skills and participate in internal training sessions to build a network of business contacts, engage with potential clients, and develop referrals Join a community-minded firm with opportunities to give back locally, regionally, and globally through our charitable outreach effortsQualifications:
Hold a CPA license or EA designation (a Master’s in Taxation is a plus) Bring at least 7 years of experience in public accounting tax Possess comprehensive expertise in individual, corporate, and partnership tax matters Have extensive experience working in a paperless environment Skilled in training, supervising, and managing staff, including reviewing returns, workpapers, and providing feedback with follow-up Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent analytical abilities Show initiative, creativity, and a proactive approach to work Demonstrate exceptional time management and organizational skills Are self-driven and capable of working independently, while also being a collaborative team player Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Display a commitment to delivering top-tier client service and advancing personal growthInterested in hearing more?
