POSITION SUMMARY:
Introducing Nestlé Purina’s new Williamsburg Township, Ohio, factory – just 30 miles east of Cincinnati. Join our dynamic Warehouse team as a Shag Driver and play a crucial role in the fast-paced operations at our new Williamsburg Township, OH facility. In this role, you will be at the forefront of tractor trailer movements, ensuring seamless transportation activities.
Embrace the future of logistics as you utilize cutting-edge digital systems to streamline shipping and receiving processes, seamlessly communicate with team members across the warehouse, and foster efficient collaboration while maximizing productivity.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on our growing Warehouse team. Take the lead in creating engaging training materials and supporting the onboarding process for future Shag Drivers. Your expertise and guidance will be instrumental in shaping the success of our expanding team.
This position will start out on day shift and once the Williamsburg Township facility approaches operational startup, the schedule will be 6pm-6am, operating on 2-2-3 schedule (two days on, two days off, three days on).
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform daily maintenance checks of shag trucks and trailers and complete written reportsPerform daily yard check as directed for loaded and empty trailersMove/spot all trailers as directedHas proficient knowledge of all finished products to facilitate the proper rotation of stock using the FIFO (First In First Out) methodKeep equipment clean and orderly and assist with general housekeeping to maintain food safety standardsComply with all Nestlé and plant-specific policiesPerform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED1+ year experience driving a commercial trailer/truck with proficiency reversing/backing up to dock doorsExperience facilitating trainings, preferably within a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, industrial or related environment

Valid Class A CDL License preferred

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $29. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
