Apex Systems, a Global IT services organization, is looking for a Remote Scrum Master for a large healthcare client. The Scrum Master has primary responsibility for leading the Agile process for one or more Agile teams, ensuring predictable delivery. They will play a role in planning, facilitating the Agile process, supporting delivery teams, and providing advice and guidance. This person will need to be able to be strong in building and maturing Agile Scrum teams in a SAFe environment. Responsibilities: Prepares for and facilitates Agile planning sessions with Product teams and assists with prioritizing user stories Works with team and Agile Coach to support projects immediately while helping transition employees to Agile environment Coaches team to adhere to Scrum framework and to improve their processes Facilitates daily stand-ups, sprint review meetings, retrospectives meetings, and other related meetings Facilitates cross-team coordination Supports PI Planning process for team(s) in SAFe framework Coaches their team(s) to predictable delivery Fosters team collaboration and communication Removes impediments to the team's ability to perform by working closely with Product Managers/Owners/Development and support organizations Facilitates team development, mediates conflicts and encourages healthy team dynamics Protects the team and minimizes disruptions Mentors team members and other stakeholders on Agile best practices Ability to: Implement stakeholder engagement/communications plans, including, for example; handling of complaints; problems and issues; managing resolutions; corrective actions and lessons learned; collection and continuously seek to improve solution development processes and/or develops new approaches to achieving improvement Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education Experience and knowledge working with scrum teams, lean principles and servant leadership
