Join our team as a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative and make a positive impact on patients' lives.As a Patient Services Representative I, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience. Your responsibilities will include drawing blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining a safe and professional environment.Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome patients, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Explain procedures to patients and draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner. Follow established practices and procedures for specimen collection and processing. Maintain required records and documentation. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image of the company. Work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrate excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients. Be flexible and available to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training as a medical assistant or paramedic is preferred. Phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Minimum of 6 months of experience, with 1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment is preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
