Overview The Product Manager 2 is responsible for collaboration with customers, Functions and IT teams to define direction and develop digital platforms. The Product Manager 2 will also participate in developing the strategy and vision for the team, developing and maintaining digital product road maps. Responsibilities Essential Job Function Create buy-in and alignment for the product vision both internally and with key external partners Develop life cycle and marketing plans to communicate digital product strategies to the entire organization Define a set of high quality, cross-functional and simple digital products based on input, strategy and vision of IT and customers Develop detailed, professional business requirements that can be used to create digital product specifications and architecture Manage prioritization and trade-offs among conflicting business priorities Work closely with Project Managers and IT resource managers to ensure products meet commitments Directing, planning, organizing and coordinating with team members in cross functional settings. Effective oral and written communication skills Proven ability to drive large scale projects with high collaboration and leadership Ability to organize and manage multiple projects through various stages of development and approval Interact professionally throughout all levels of the global organization Ability to work collaboratively and foster teamwork across local and globally virtual teams Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines with minimal supervision Self-motivated with the ability to organize and manage several tasks at once Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations Predisposition to continuously improve upon existing procedures and desire to create user instructions documents Qualifications Physical Requirement/Work Enviroment 4 year degree; or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background A minimum of 4 years in a functional leadership capacity. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple complex projects with competing deadlines Experience with user-driven, digital and IT strategy Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. May act as a lead or first-level supervisor. Physical Requirements/Work Enviroment Works under general office environment conditions Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, equipment, etc. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA Requires occasional early morning or late evening teleconferences International and domestic travel as required
