A hospital in Idaho is in need of Telemetry RN's to work a 13 week travel assignment.The Tele nurses will be working 12 hour shifts, nights or days are available.The hospital is wanting someone to start ASAP.Job Requirements

Must have 2 years experience as a Tele nurse.Must have cardiac drip experience (see below), NIH stroke assessment experience, post cath recovery and chest tube experience.Experience with TR bands and Fem stops is ideal.Schedule Information

Shifts & Scheduling: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730.We place travelers in needed slots, try to work with their requests but priority is meeting needs.We do allow for trades with peers.We do not do block scheduling.Weekend Requirements: Yes travelers will fill in the needs.Holiday Requirements: Yes travelers fill in needs.Unit Specific Information

Unit: TeleBeds: 27 will be adding 10 more beds in June.Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4Additional Details

Are RN's required to titrate drips: NoCommon titratable: Will commonly see set rate diltiazem and amiodarone. No epi or nitro on this floor.Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit: Tele techs on floor until June, then they will centralize off site.RNs required to read and interpret: Will read and document every 6 hours. Currently using SpaceLab monitors, transitioning to Philips.Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Yes we have both- will not take patients.Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios: Yes 1:8/9.RT/Equipment: CPAP, BiPAP, high flow- RT will manage.Is there Call or a Standby requirement: No.Floating Requirements: Will float to like units and Med/Surg at times. May also float to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center to like units and MedSurg if needed. May also float to ICU if experienced.Scrub Color: Any as long as they are clean, well kept, and professional.Department Specific Orientation: System onboarding then 2 orientation shifts.
