What You’ll Be Doing
Lead the design, analysis, and testing of sophisticated mechanical systems and components.
Serve as the mechanical engineering lead on cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
mentor junior engineers and oversee the work of Mechanical Designers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Develop robust, high-performance designs using advanced tools such as FEA, CFD, and tolerance analysis.
Ensure compliance with industry standards by reviewing and approving models, drawings, and prototypes.
Lead R&D efforts in mechanical technologies, processes, and materials, driving innovation.
Provide ongoing support for existing product lines while continuously improving departmental processes.
What You Bring
A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or related field) with 10+ years of experience, or a Master’s/Doctorate with 8+ years of experience.
Expertise in SolidWorks, FEA, CFD, and tolerance analysis.
A track record of successful opto-mechanical or electro-mechanical design projects.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and medical device quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with medical devices, especially endoscopic camera systems.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods and use hand tools for prototype assembly.
