4x12 blocked, Fri-Mon or Sat-TueBLS and ACLS required- Fast-paced work environment with an average of 5-10 discharges/admits daily

- Care for patients from outlying areas who seek specialty services

- Focus on acute and chronic management of heart failure patients presenting in crisis, acute cardiac events and illnesses, exacerbation of chronic cardiac disease.

- High acuity patients- IV medical management, hi-flow oxygen, impaired immobility due to venous congestion

- Manage patients post cardiac catheterization and/or cardioversion

Currently 1:5 ratios for PCU (goal is 1:4)
