Role Overview :
The Sales Executive, Airway, will be responsible for selling and providing training for KARL STORZ Airway Management products within the Cincinnati/Dayton, OH territory. The role involves frequent visits to hospitals, surgery centers, emergency rooms, and other medical sites to achieve sales quotas and provide in-service product training. The ideal candidate must live within the territory. This role pays a base salary plus commission and bonus.
Key Responsibilities :
Achieve assigned sales quotas as outlined in the annual Business Plan.
Conduct product training for new and existing customers.
Manage business within territory according to budgeted expenses.
Follow up on leads and inquiries, reporting to the Sales Manager.
Attend and participate in local and national product fairs and conventions.
Maintain relationships with KARL STORZ sales and support teams.
Work Environment :
30+ hours per week traveling to customer sites.
Regular entry into patient procedure rooms and sterile environments.
Daily driving within a 100-mile radius of the home office, with occasional extended travel.
Physical duties include handling equipment (1-35 lbs) and extensive walking/standing.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree or 2-4 years of relevant sales experience.
Valid driver’s license for daily driving to geographically dispersed accounts.
Strong knowledge of healthcare and medical device industries.
Skills :
Competency in sales techniques, including features, advantages, and benefits selling.
Ability to educate and train customers on product use.
Self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement.
