Travel RN - Interventional Radiology

Shift : Days / 7a-4:30p, 9x4, 36 hrs per week

Length : 13 weeks(will consider 4x10 Days)Weekday is Monday through Thursday beginning at 1630 until 0700 which is 14.50 hours8 on-call shifts overnight in a 4-week period which includes Neuro and IR (Interventional Radiology). Dual modalities rotated

Requirements:

Four shifts Mon-Fri 0700-1630 (will consider 4x10 Days)Schedule

• Monday through Friday 0700 to 1630 Four nine-hour shifts. Day off is rotated

-8 on-call shifts overnight in a 4-week period which includes Neuro and IR (Interventional Radiology). Dual modalities rotated

-30 min arrival time for Neuro/ 60 min arrival time for IR (Interventional Radiology)

-Weekday is Monday through Thursday beginning at 1630 until 0700 which is 14.50 hours

-Weekend is Saturday and Sunday 24 hours, which is assigned as a back-up rotation, every 3rd weekend.Ratio: 1:1

Documentation system: Cerner

Certs Required: ACLS , BCLS and NIH

Preferred Skill: Pulmonary Artery Lines and EVD Familiarity

Skill: Circulate , Conscious Sedation , ICP and , Telemetry, Triage and Vents

Expectations:

1. Neuro IR nurses assist with the following cases: stroke interventions, cerebral angiogram’s and interventions associated with procedure, thrombectomies, circulating as the RN to assist during the case. We have anesthesia coverage for majority of the Neuro IR cases.2. Interventional Radiology (IR) cases: The IR nurse would give moderate sedation when needed and do any specimen collection with circulation working with the Interventionalist and IR tech. We do organ biopsies, GI Bleeds, para’s, Thora’s, angiograms, Line placement, dialysis catheter (tunneled and non-tunneled), UFIE’s as examples.COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):
