These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle from analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems.

You will have the opportunity to perform design, development, documentation, integration, test and debug of circuit card hardware architecture for DoD systems. Hardware designs will be integrated into small form factor security devices and network systems. Responsibilities include Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design, FPGA design, design documentation generation, hardware integration and test. You will be part of a high performing development team currently developing a new product for SNC.

Responsibilities:PCB/CCA Hardware Design and IntegrationFPGA DesignARM 7 or 8 based microcontroller design8 bit and 16 bit microcontroller design such as Microchip, Microblaze, PicoBlaze, or MSP430Initiate problem solving for new product designs as well as existing productsPlan and execute technical activities in accordance with SNC policies, procedures, and specific Customer requirementsOriginate specifications, control documents, verification and validation plans, procedures, and reports, in support of design and developmentExecute engineering design and development activities consistent with Customer quality, cost and schedule requirementsAssemble, test, and maintain circuitry or electronic components according to engineering instructions, technical manuals and knowledge of electronicsResponsible for the design and development of units from concept through qualification

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $118,360.24 - $162,745.34. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
