ACP is seeking a passionate school-based therapist fluent in Spanish to serve students in Dakota County. Your skill set and dedication offer students the right support at the right time, helping them flourish when they need it.
With 15+ years of experience delivering school-based therapy services, ACP is an established and respected agency with long-term partnerships in over 50 Dakota County schools.

Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments and develop focused treatment plans in a fast-paced school setting.Provide individual and family therapy to students (ages 5-21) in Dakota County schools.Consult and collaborate with school staff as a mental health team member.Utilize evidence-based practices and creative interventions to address mental/behavioral health, chemical health, and academic success.Support students in developing resilience, emotional regulation, and coping skills.Opportunities for group work.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related clinical field and are on track to become an LMFT, LPCC, or LICSW.Strong clinical skills and a passion for working with youth and families.A desire for teaming.Strong communication skills.Mental stability and ability to model appropriate ethics and boundaries.Timely submission of documentation of services.Valid driver's license and auto insurance, plus a willingness to travel within the Twin Cities metro area.
Previous experience working with children and adolescents is preferred, but a genuine interest in learning and developing the skill is most important.

Our school-based programs are a safe place to learn and prepare for licensure while helping you develop skills to be a well-rounded therapist (e.g., practice management, real-life ethics, risk-regulatory-clinical, critical thinking, etc.)
To support your ongoing growth, we offer:
Mentor for shadowing and support (new providers only).Orientation process to provide effective learning & independence.Up to 8 hours/month (4 individual/dyad, 4 group) with board-approved, seasoned clinicians with years of experience doing community-based work.Free professional development CEUs.New provider cohort twice per month.Clinical ‘drop-in’ times available monthly with our leadership team.Opportunity to obtain experience in multiple services while on licensure track: therapy (in-home and school-based), ARMHS and CTSS, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning.Relational hours toward licensure for Marriage and Family therapy applicants.
