Come join our team of LCSWs, LPCs, Clinical Psychologists, and billing and office staff. We are currently hiring for outpatient mental health therapist positions.

We are looking for providers with specialized training in: Transgender health, child and family therapy, trauma treatment, group therapy, EMDR and Somatic Experiencing, and/or specialized anxiety disorder treatment.
We offer flexible schedules with sustainable caseloads. Hybrid scheduling is available with a balance of in-person and telehealth therapy in order to meet varying client needs and offer work/life balance for clinicians. Full time positions see approximately 25 clients per week. We also offer .75 FTE positions for clinicians wanting smaller caseloads.
Bridge City Counseling is working to increase accessibility to community-based care for people who have been historically left out of getting quality mental health care. We want to recruit clinicians who can help our practice meet our goals through their expertise and commitment to helping Bridge City grow.
We emphasize trauma-informed care, cultural competency, clinician well-being, and client comfort and safety. We prioritize being a part of clients' holistic care teams, coordinating care with primary care providers, specialists, schools, and other community resources.
Bridge City Counseling opened in 2009 and is an established outpatient mental health clinic in SE Portland which focuses on providing personalized mental health care to children, families, individual adults and relationships. Bridge City is contracted both with Oregon Health Plan Medicaid/Care Oregon and with major commercial insurances including Kaiser to serve community members on those plans. We have recently expanded contracts with Oregon Health Plans carriers across Oregon in order to provide Trans affirming care to Transgender and gender diverse children, teens and adults around the state and in rural settings.
Bridge City is registered as an employer in the states of Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and Minnesota.
*Basic Qualifications:*
- Graduate Degree in Clinical Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice mental health therapy in Oregon (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, PsyD, or PhD).
- Positions for Pre- Licensed Mental Health Clinicians are also currently available.
*Specific Qualifications:*
- Clinicians with lived and clinical experience working within BIPOC and QTBIPOC communities, Queer, Trans, and LGBT communities, rural, poor, disabled, neurodivergent, and religiously targeted communities.
- Proficient in Assessment, Diagnosis, and Treatment utilizing DSM-5TR.
- Experience in treatment of PTSD and complex trauma, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, and Adjustment Disorders.
- Skills in case management and coordination with multidisciplinary teams in order to meet environmental needs of clients.
- Experience and training in use of evidence-based and trauma-informed therapies.
- Computer skills for efficient use of Electronic Health Records systems, HIPAA compliant communication, use of Google-based systems.
- Well-developed understanding of professional ethics, professional boundaries, client confidentiality, abuse reporting, safety concerns management, power differentials, and impact of systems of oppression on client wellbeing.
- Advanced skills in rapport building, problem solving, professional communication, and conflict resolution. Skilled in navigating a variety of professional, peer, and client relationships.
- Commitment to equity in all levels of clinic functioning, including engagement in clinic trauma-informed care and anti-racism training and practices.
