Compensation: $20 - 30 hr. Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.
Schedule: Full-time opportunities available, 4 x 10s. Not looking to be scheduled for 40 hours? No problem! Our leadership team believes in work-life balance and will work with your schedule.
Day in The Life: VCA Cascade Animal Medical Center & Inn is an AAHA accredited, full-service facility offering Preventative/Routine care, Surgery and Dental procedures, Urgent Care, and Hospitalization.
Our Certified Veterinary Technicians provide compassionate veterinary care to our patients. We provide a progressive learning environment to guide your career path, and encourage technicians to utilize their technical skills to broaden their abilities.
Assist doctors with exams, treatments and procedures.Venipuncture and IVC placementAdminister SQ fluids, medications, etc.Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients are receiving the best possible care and communicating frequently with the team.Recognize subtle change in clinical status.Discharge instructions with clients when they are able to bring their furry family member back home with them.Complete estimates, basic record keeping.Surgical preparation and assisting.Anesthesia monitoring.Dentistry and dental radiographsDiagnostic imaging
