Materials Planner

Our Client, a Truck and Engine Manufacturing company, is looking for Materials Planner for their Lisle, IL location

Responsibilities:

• Client Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for an R&D Material Planning position.
• The Material Planner will be responsible for procurement and supply of Engineering materials for use spread across various build locations.
• There are opportunities to communicate, and problem solve with cross functional teams including other supply chain team members, production, quality, engineering, third party logistics and procurement.
• Communication may be direct with supply base and/or through corporate conference calls.
• Material planners are also responsible for material inventory levels as it moves through the R&D product cycle.
• Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of material throughout the Procurement process.
• Determines material requirements from Engineering.
• Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering
• Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; work with bill of materials and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems
