Interim Accounting Manager

Our agribusiness client is seeking an individual to join their team to backfill during an upcoming leave of absence.

The main responsibility will be to review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations and drive some process improvements.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Implement process improvements and build robust purpose and procedure documentation
  • Provide review comments to staff on improvements and ensuring completeness and accuracy of data and that documentation is proper and up to standard of external audit review
  • Individual would also need to preparation of certain journal entries and account reconciliations as well
  • Versatile accounting professional is required to step in wherever asked in the areas above

The ideal individual will have the follow experience:

  • 7+ years experience especially in supervisory role, including review and approval of journal entries and reconciliations
  • Implementation of new accounting process improvements and an excellent history of process documentation
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience with SAP
  • Previous experience with Blackline
Duration:

This position will last 6 months at minimum to cover the leave

Process:

There will be a virtual interview with the clients through Microsoft Teams and will start within 2 weeks of an offer

Compensation:
W2 hourly compensation of $55-60/hr. Estimated 40 hours/week, no OT expected.

Work Model/Hours:
This client currently has a hybrid work model, with 2 days in office (Tues&Wed) required per week. Standard business hours with the core hours (9a-3pm CST) required.
