We are currently hiring for Production Workers for a Buyer in Watertown, NY.

Pay: $59,000 - $68,000 per year

Schedule will vary

Duties and Responsibilities

-Coordinate with the Engineer department to enter and track purchase orders.

-Complete month end closure in all assigned areas

-Expedite on emergency material and service requirements.

-Close interaction with accounting to ensure efficiencies in the requisition to payment process and timely payments with suppliers on all assigned commodities.

-Support continuous improvement activities at the site and ensure procurement is selecting suppliers that offer the company a competitive advantage.

-Enforces all company safety policies and procedures

Education and Experience

-Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, management or finance or equivalent work experience

-2-5 years of stock inventory management in a manufacturing environment

-Effective written and verbal communication skills

-Effective negotiator and problem solver
