***This is Hybrid opportunity. Only local to Houston, TX candidates can apply who are open to work 3 days from office (T-Th). Candidate should have good experience with project management and must have performed Project Coordinator responsibilities in recent assignment. Experience with Budgeting and PPM tool (more specifically like Clarity, Monday.com) is required. ***

Required Education and Experience:

• Associate’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Business Administration or similar area of study, and zero to three years previous experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience, in Business Administration or similar area of study, and zero to three years previous experience.

Required Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of Project coordinator experience

• Budgeting experience!

• SharePoint knowledge and experience

• Jira knowledge and experience

• PPM tools knowledge and experience (more specifically like Clarity, Monday.com)

• Comprehensive understanding of project management fundamentals (phases, deliverables per phase etc.)

• PowerPoint knowledge and experience

Project Coordinator Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Coordinates administrative support for project management and ensures timely and cost-effective completion of administrative details.

• Composes letters, reports and other materials based on an understanding of the requirements.

• Ensures grammar, punctuation and spelling standards are maintained.

• Performs work of a highly confidential nature and coordinates basic administrative support such as typing, proofing, assembling reports, taking, transcribing and distributing minutes of meetings.

• Coordinates project administration and makes decisions effecting project timelines and layout.

• Maintains confidential files as necessary.

• Assists in the coordination of human resource functions and duties that require access to confidential information.

• Maintains and verifies records such as man-hours, pay rates, and time sheets.

• Prepares special and recurring reports of a highly confidential nature according to general directions.

• Assigns and coordinates the work of other office administrative and clerical staff.

• Ensures staff members are adequately trained.

• Serves as liaison between project line managers and administrative departments.

• Schedules and coordinates meetings. Prepares basic presentation charts for design review.

• Prepares reports and schedules to communicate project status.

• Reviews expenditures and prepares reports detailing overs and shorts against plan.

• Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory duties.
