Production Associate

Responsibilities:

• Complete various production tasks as assigned by Production Operator.
• Clears pan jams from line, removes and adds baking pans as needed.
• Troubleshoots basic causes of line stops and restarts production
• Assist the production operator in line startups and changeovers
• Oversee product quality and ensure product being produced is in compliance.
• Maintain high rates of production as set by the Operator and Production Supervisor.
• Separates rework from raw dough waste whenever possible to minimize waste
• Monitor and deliver side trimmings to mixer;
• Removes all out-of-spec product from the line and notifies Production Supervisor.
• Contributes to a safe and efficient work environment.
• Attends Monthly required safety meetings when applicable,
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks, and adhere to all safety policies.
• Performs other related responsibilities, as needed or directed by Production Supervisor and Manager.
• Plan, problem solve, foster healthy peer relations, and motivate others

Food Safety Responsibilities:

• Follow all GMP's, Food Defense and quality policies.
• Ensures compliance with all GMP, food hygiene and safety standards
• Report all food safety incidents such as GMP violations, ingredient and product contamination, metal detector, screen or magnet deviancies', glass breakage, and pest harborage

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Work in a noisy environment for length of shift
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Willing to acquire a wide variety of skills to assist the surrounding team and fully understand the processes
• Able to problem solve, learn on the fly, process and technical learning, and quality decision.
• Must be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently

$14.50 + $1.00 shift differential
