Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

• Prepare financial reporting and analysis for multiple healthcare facilities.
• Maintain monthly financial records and work papers.
• Assist in the preparation of required documents and analyses for the annual audit process.
• Support income tax and sales tax filings, preparing all necessary work papers.
• Contribute to the annual budgeting process in coordination with finance and operations.
• Interact with accounts receivable and payable departments as needed.
• Record monthly journal entries accurately and on time.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

What We're Looking For in a Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-3 years of experience in healthcare or service-based accounting preferred.
• Strong attention to deadlines and the ability to work with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with healthcare accounting software is a plus.
