OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Accountant will utilize QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP.
• Review vendor and contractor invoices for proper documentation, coding, and approval.
• Accountant will record vendor invoices and cash receipts; file copies for audit trails.
• Maintain W-9 documentation for all vendors and prepare 1099 forms at year-end.
• Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and process bi-weekly payroll.
• The Accountant will assist Controller with reconciliations, grant tracking, and support for audits.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Prior experience withing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll preferred
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks
