JobsRUs.com is currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our client's team in Lexington, VA!

Pay ranges from $17-$21/hr

Shift: 11 am - 7 pm, or 6:30 am - 2:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

Greet residents and guests promptly, providing menus and detailed descriptions of menu items and specials with a positive attitude.

Maintain a thorough menu knowledge, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings.

Assist in preparing menu items before service as assigned

Serve meals and beverages with a high level of care, following fine-dining service standards

Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers, and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant, ensuring an organized and inviting atmosphere

Set tables and rearrange the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events

Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality service

Address resident and guest inquiries/feedback with professionalism

Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed

Operate Point of Sale (POS) system and OpenTable for business functions

Convey important information about orders, allergies, and special requests to the appropriate channels.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in fine dining or upscale food service/hospitality is preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Flexible schedule, including primary availability on weekends and holidays

Passion for providing outstanding service to residents and guests

Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 25 pounds
