The applicant must have solid foundation treating sensory processing disorders and comfortable with working in early intervention-Autism. We serve both community children and children in our ABA program with a range of disabilities mild to moderate. 1+ year experience desirable. We are a multidisciplinary therapy team of speech pathologists, occupational therapists, RBTs and BCBAs. Hours and days are flexible.

Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and sensory integration- Assist patients in developing or regaining daily living skills, such as dressing, grooming, and feeding- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance independence- Monitor and document patients' progress throughout the treatment process- Participate in case management meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Skills:- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices- Proficient in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members- Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and compassion- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to occupational therapy interventions- Familiarity with speech therapy techniques is a plus- Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation requirements
Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program- Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
