Information Technology Technician

Valco Melton, a world leader in adhesive application and quality assurance systems, is seeking an IT Technician to join the IT team at our headquarters in Cincinnati. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day problem-resolution support for IT hardware, software, business systems, networking products, and user access. This position will also own other services such as diagnosing and resolving tech problems and providing in-person support to assist with installation, maintenance, and repair. Specific Responsibilities: Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve computing hardware, software, connectivity, networking and account management inquiries. Perform remote installation, maintenance, and repair services. Provide day-to-day on-site problem-resolution support for IT hardware, software, business systems, networking products, access for internal and external partners, and other services. Responsible for creating and maintaining company accounts, internal communications, managing distribution lists, and installation and maintenance of security systems. Required Qualifications: 2 years of relevant experience in IT support in a corporate IT support environment. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical groups. Knowledge of MS Windows 10/11, iOS, MS Office O365, and MDM for mobile devices. Preferred Competencies: Active Directory - Assist in management and work with Microsoft Active Directory in a hybrid environment. Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive - Troubleshoot and administer Microsoft collaboration software. Microsoft Intune - Able to navigate and work with Microsoft hosted environment. Windows Servers/Microsoft Azure - Basic understanding of Microsoft Servers and Microsoft Azure/365 Basic Networking Knowledge - Understanding of IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and basic network troubleshooting Mobile technology (iOS, Android) PSA/RMM Tool - Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote desktop support tools.
