Construction Accountant

Newly created Construction Accountant position with a highly reputable organization in Greater Hartford! (This is an onsite role in Berlin, CT).

Construction Accountant job duties:

• Journal entries, month end, bank reconciliations
• AP/AR and payroll
• Work closely with the CFO on high level projects
• Year end reconciliation and financial statement preparation

Preferred qualifications of the Construction Accountant:

• BS in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required
• Strong Excel skills, experience in Sage ERP system would be a plus
• 3-5 years experience ideally
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
