At Schwab, the Liquidity Technology team is responsible for supporting the regulatory reporting, metrics, and analysis of the Liquidity needs of the firm. This is a critical part of the firms health so you will be working on essential applications that play a key part in the day-to-day compliance with Federal regulations. This includes applications that source data from various internal and external sources, translate disparate data into a common domain model, calculate near real-time liquidity numbers, and display results and reporting on a UI.
We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to gather requirements from end users, groom user stories and identify relevant use cases, translate complex business context into conceptual technical solutions, and will develop and understanding of how various internal and external systems interact to contribute to the end goal. You will also assist coordinating user acceptance testing to ensure that the solutions are meeting the needs of our business partners. You will be working with a team of talented technologists and SMEs who bring a lot of energy, focus and fresh ideas that support our mission to provide value by seeing the world Through Clients' Eyes.
**What You Are Good At**
+ Understanding complex user requests and clarifying and communicating the objectives in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
+ Conducting requirements gathering meetings with users, developers, system design architects, and product owners in a way that fleshes out the true needs of the system.
+ Building key relationships with stakeholders and communicating with partners.
+ Contributing to projects with moderate complexity and scope.
+ Coordinating UAT efforts to ensure the system is achieving the goals of the requirements.
+ Understanding the needs of various upstream and downstream teams to ensure that the flow of data through the connected systems is not impacted.
+ Quickly diving into data sources and building SQL queries to present the data in different ways.
+ Adapting to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks.
+ Participating in troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving issues with Production Support by providing details on key functions questions regarding application behavior.
**What you have**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field -OR- hands on experience gained through 4-5+ years in a business system analyst or similar role.
+ Experience building complex SQL queries.
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and provide technology recommendations to the business.
+ Experience in systems development life cycle including the ability to define and document specifications, work with developers to design/analyze alternative technical solutions, test completed code and complete a smooth implementation with the business partners.
+ Knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly liquidity concerns like intra-day liquidity and cash movement, is nice to have, but not required.
+ The ability to work independently and to effectively interact and collaborate with all types of stakeholders, both technical and business, peers, and leaders.
+ The ability work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
+ The ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and learn new technologies.
+ Strong customer focus with a sense of ownership and determination to drive solutions in a collaborative environment.

CO Salary Range: USD $105,000 - $140,000 / Year
