As the Laborer (Roofer) you will be in charge of performing roof cleaning, roof repairs and new-roof installations. You will also accomplish planned maintenance, providing support to other crafts; ensuring attractions are clean and ready for operation. In addition to the above listed duties they will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining attractions, waterways, equipment rooms, backstage areas, and responsible areas. You will also be responsible for maintaining railroad track, ties, switches, and gravel ballast. Duties include changing air filters in HVAC units, equipment room doors (where equipped) and other miscellaneous locations

CHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; Shifts may start as early as 5:00 AM, while some may end as late as 5:00 AM.
This role is Full Time and requires full availability, including working evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.

Basic Qualifications
You must be at least 18 years of age or older to be considered for this roleSchedule Availability:

Technical Abilities and Experience
Eight (8) or more years of roofing experience highly preferred, including new installations, repairs, and leak-source locatingResponsibilities
Roof-relating duties:
Clean, maintain, and repair roofsPark maintenance and cleaning duties:
Dig holes and trenches for tradesChange burnt out lights inside air-handling unitsRepair damaged filter-door gaskets or filter-rack clipsClean area storm drainsGrease AH/FC/DX bearingsMaterial handling:
Move soil, gravel, equipment, and material to assist all tradesLoad and unload material from transport vehicles using hand trucks, dollies, and other support devicesMove furniture, lumber, fence railing, and other materialsAttraction responsibility:
Clean flume, animation, and pond areasClean track and ride-path areasPerform weekly, monthly, and annual planned maintenanceGeneral:
Operate a forklift

The pay rate for this role in California is $26.00 per hour.
