Power BI/SQL Developer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst / BI Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL and Power BI, with a strong ability to analyze data and create insightful reports. You will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights to support decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases. Create and manage Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize data trends and insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data needs. Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data quality checks. Provide training and support to team members on BI tools and data analysis techniques. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics and visualization. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience working with SQL databases and writing complex queries. Proficiency in Power BI, including experience with DAX and data modeling. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data insights effectively. Experience with data visualization best practices is a plus. Knowledge of additional BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
the individual's skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certification requirements; office location and other geographic considerations; other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
