Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.Duties: Develop and maintain advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions. Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design. Fine-tune SQL Queries for maximum efficiency and performance. Review and improve existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems. Conduct unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues. Create visualizations for the data extracted with the help of BI Tools. Find the key areas of automation to make the business processes smooth. Develop and present findings and engage with stakeholders to support data driven insights and decision-making. Develop ad hoc reporting/Self Service platform with appropriate controls over manual, semi-automated and automated reporting functions for senior management and stakeholder. Implement emerging analytics and impactful visualization approaches and technologies to tell complex stories. Build relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., Business & Function Risk/ Control Leads, analytics and reporting managers across Citi), including working effectively with internal audit. Provide support on other key initiatives and requirements to deliver regulatory transformational change at Citibank. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.Requirements: Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the IT industry. Seven (7) years of experience must include: Developing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions using BI Tools including Tableau, IBM Cognos, Microstrategy, Analytical reporting, and data functions; Analyzing unstructured data using relational databases including Oracle, Sybase, MongoDB; Analyzing complex business requirements, evaluating business processes, and understanding the business functionality to design and develop information systems using Agile and Waterfall methodology; Designing and developing SQLs for given functionality and verifying using Oracle SQL developer and Toad tool in the service code; Enhancing existing service functionality using Java, Python, Rest client, Log4J, and Maven, and using Jenkins/Tekton pipeline for code deployment in ECS, Application Servers, and Web Servers; and Monitoring application logs utilizing Kibana dashboard and ECS and Applications logs.
