Firmware Engineer - C, Embedded, IoT, Bluetooth, Low-Power Design, Dallas We are looking for a talented Firmware Engineer to join our client's dynamic team and significantly impact diverse applications, ranging from aircraft avionics to car engine control units and smart thermostats for homes. In this exciting role, you will design and develop firmware and see your ideas come to life throughout the entire product lifecycle-from initial concept to final manufacturing. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership and lead projects from inception to completion. You'll collaborate with a skilled team that excels in electrical, firmware, and mechanical engineering. Report directly to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with a team of seven engineers with diverse technical skills Focus on new product development while maintaining the firmware for legacy products. Develop embedded software or firmware in C, FastRTOS, and ARM processors Navigate the challenges of size constraints, low-power designs, and high-volume products with creativity and innovation Create software for automated engineering test fixtures and cutting-edge phone/tablet apps Lead projects and broaden your responsibilities in new areas Integrate Bluetooth technology into products What are the minimum qualifications? B.S. degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related Senior level embedded software development Proficiency in C Microcontrollers and/or Microprocessors experience Experience in multitasking to create efficient and high-performance embedded systems Must have strong communication and collaboration abilities with the ability to thrive in solo projects and team environments What will make your rsum stand out? C++ Experience with Bluetooth or CAN Background in very low power system experience Proven expertise in interfacing with advanced sensors and optimizing signal-processing pathways Skilled in effectively debugging embedded systems using hardware and software tools Proficient in using configuration management tools and defect tracking systems, such as GIT and Jira Track record of leading projects Location: Dallas area, In office position Relocation: Will assist Citizenship: U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents Salary: 115k - 150k 401(k) Match
