The Analytics Developer will create reports, data visualizations and analytical solutions that deliver actionable information to business leaders.
This position will primarily utilize the Tableau analytics and visualization platform to create, deploy and maintain reusable analytical solutions.
Analyze and troubleshoot user issues resulting from the use of analytical solutions developed.
Will champion the process of redesigning reports that are manual today and deploying them into the Tableau self-service framework to allow end users to access and use the information on demand.Partner with leaders across the organization to understand existing business problems with the primary objective of recommending analytical solutions including reports and data visualizationsDesign, develop and enhance Tableau visualizations including highly interactive reports, scorecards and dashboards, leveraging the full range of Tableau featuresUtilize advanced SQL skills and enabling tools (e.g., Tableau Prep) to perform data exploration, preparation /modelling necessary to build the foundational data models and architecture needed to support the development of desired analytical solutionsWork with our Business intelligence team to ensure that data warehouse requirements drive the necessary enhancements and evolution around the information we access.Deliver offline / ad-hoc reporting as needed to business partners, including manual and automated delivery, as necessary.Provide maintenance and enhancement support to our internal dashboard solution to ensure continued reliability and accuracy for our users.Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure internal dashboard product meets established standardsSupport efforts to create /code, test, deploy and support data-driven predictive/descriptive analytical models using R, Python or other data science toolsPerform detailed data analysis as needed (i.e. determine structure, content, and quality of data through examination of source systems and data samples)Provide end user support to ensure comprehension of analytics, via Q&A or training sessionsEducation Requirements
Master's degrees in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Business Analytics) with focus on Business Analytics
