We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating children with speech, language, and cognitive disorders. You will work closely with patients under the age of 6 in an autism pediatric settings.
*DUTIES*- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' speech, language, and cognitive abilities- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results- Provide therapy sessions to improve child's communication skills- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated treatment plans- Monitor child's progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records- Meet with child's families and provide training
*EXPERIENCE*- Previous experience working in a autism pediatric setting is preferred- Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and interventions- Strong knowledge of Gestalt Language Processing evaluation, treatment, and parent education- Understanding of anatomy related to speech and language- Ability to perform patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans- Familiarity with AAC Devices and implementation in treatment sessions- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient care
