Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, must be recent within the past 6 monthsMust have a strong cardiac tele background, preferably 2 yearsAbility to interpret cardiac stripsMust pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer with a maximum of 2 attemptsMust pass a pass/fail SIM LAB on the first day of orientationSchedule Information
Ability to self-schedule; however, this could change4 weekend shifts in a 4-week scheduleHoliday rotation with permanent staffNo call requiredUnit Specific Information
Unit has 60 ED beds at CRMC and 31 ED beds at MGMCNurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4No vents on unitThere is no monitor tech in the EDCommon titratable and/or set rate drips are Cardizem, Heparin, and AmiodaroneED PCTs availableFloating Requirements: Would float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC EDs as neededScrub Color/Dress Code: NavyAdditional Details
Will be caring for patients from the ER waiting on a bed in the hospitalMay assist with ED patients including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration
